Job description
For a client in Zeeland, we are looking for a Warehouse coordinator.
The Warehouse Coordinator will directly report to Yard Coordinator, and interact on daily basis with Yard Team (Technical, Administration & Projects departments) and 3rd Parties (Marine Agencies, Transport Companies…).
He/She will coordinate with Technical Team for the maintenance of Lifting & Handling Equipment, Inspection & Certification of Storages Units, in order to ensure the Safety of the Warehousing Services.
Futhermore the Warehouse Coordinator is Member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).

EMERGENCY RESPONDER
He/She will coordinate with Technical Team for the maintenance of Lifting & Handling Equipment, Inspection & Certification of Storages Units, in order to ensure the Safety of the Warehousing Services.
Futhermore the Warehouse Coordinator is Member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
WAREHOUSING SERVICES
• Oversee Daily Warehousing Operations & Logistics Flows (Deliveries & Shipments on the Site)
• Ensure the Safe & Efficient Receipt, Storage, and Dispatch of a wide range of Goods on Site
• Manage, Train & Supervise the Warehouse Assistants, and Substitute them when absent.
• Organize & Track storage of all Equipments & Products needed for both Projects & Yard needs
• Optimize Warehouse Layout & Storage Solutions, have an proactive role in Improvements.
• Coordinate with 3rd Parties & (Internal) Customers to ease Logistics Processes.
• Collaborate with Yard Team & other departments to improve Teamwork & overall Efficiency.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure Accurate Inventory & Labelling of Stored Goods (Type, Qty, Location..)
• Track Usage of Surfaces for further Invoicing purposes.
• Maintain the ‘Warehouse Management System’ (WMS) up to date
• Record Receipt & Dispatch documents in WMS
• Record Goods Movements in SAP (Receipt, Storage, etc. )
SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT
• Implement and Enforce Warehouse Policies & Procedures.
• Maintain Safety & Security Standards of the Warehouse (Indoor & Outdoor areas)
• Coordinate the Housekeeping of Indoor/Outdoor storage areas for Safe Working Environment
• Ensure Stock Levels of PPE & Consummables (Inventory, Purchase Requests)
• Track Distribution of PPE to Visitors & internal Workers
• Coordinate Maintenance of Lifting & Handling equipment (Forklifts, Brushkarts etc.)
• Coordinate Inspection & Certification of Storages Units (Rack Shelves, Chemical Containe etc.)
• Coordinate Inspection & Certification of Life Jackets, Extinguishers, Defibrilators etc.
• Coordinate Use of Waste Segregation Areas (Cardboard, Metal, Wood, Chemicals, General etc.)
• Recognize & Handle Dangerous Goods (ADR, PGS15, ZZS…) as Oil/Paint/Chemicals.
• Coordinate Segregation of Dangerous Goods in dedicated Permitted areas (Lubes, Paint,
Chemicals, Gas, Fuel, etc)• Have MSDS sheets available for each product & accessible (WMS, paper…) in case of emergency
• Monitor Chemical Quantities to Comply with Environmental Permit Limitations
COMPLIANCE
• Ensure correct Handling & Administration of all Customs related matters.
• Manage the Custom Bounded Area(s) (restricted access, up-to-date documentation)
• Monitor & Ensure Compliance with relevant EU/ Dutch Regulations & Industry Standards
• Conduct regular Audits & Inspections on Site to Identify, Report & Mitigate Non-Conformities
EMERGENCY RESPONDER
• Exemplary on the Wearing of Mandatory PPE (Safety Shoes, Gloves, Coverall + Red Helmet)
• Exemplary HSE Behavirour & Educational Attitude towards All Users of the Site
• Participate to Periodic Trainings (BHV & EHBO refreshers) & Quaterly Drills (Fire, Evacuation…)
• Ready to Intervene in the event of an Emergency
Your qualifications
• Secondary level education (MBO) or Bsc level (HBO) or equivalent. Relevant education on Warehousing is a +
• Valid NL Forklift Licence. Cherry-picker or Cisor-lift a + or willing to obtain
• Valid Driving Licence
• Proven Experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or similar role (Receipt, Storage, Dispatch)
• Experience in Warehousing & Logistics for the Offshore, Maritime or Chemical industries &
awareness on their Best Practices• Experience in Forklift Operations & Rack Shelves use
• Proviciency using Microsoft Office editing tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Software & Systems (WMS)
• Knowledge of SAP Client environment
• Knowledge of Safety & Security Regulations
• Experience in Customs related matters (Regulations, Clearances, Bounded Goods, …)
