Job description We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure supplier quality excellence across high-profile naval shipbuilding programs. In this key position, you will play a central role in refining and enhancing QA procedures used by suppliers involved in your assigned project. Your tasks will include performing in-depth quality audits at supplier locations throughout Western Europe and delivering expert support, follow-up, and thorough documentation of any quality concerns identified. Frequent travel within the region is an essential part of this role.

Main Responsibilities:

Supplier Audit Leadership: Plan and execute quality audits at supplier facilities, document outcomes, and ensure follow-up actions are effectively implemented.

Managing Supplier Quality Risks: Monitor risk levels through a dedicated register and implement actions to minimize exposure.

Improving QA Systems: Take part in the evolution and integration of supplier quality standards tailored to project needs.

Process Compliance Oversight: Ensure suppliers are correctly applying agreed-upon quality procedures and methods.

Developing Supplier-Specific QA Plans: Build and apply custom QA strategies suited to each supplier’s capabilities and project roles.

Reporting and Communication: Keep project stakeholders updated with structured reports on supplier quality performance and mitigation strategies.

Job description We are currently seeking a QA/QC Coordinator to take ownership of quality control and assurance activities within a dynamic production environment for complex naval shipbuilding programs. In this role, you will oversee all QA/QC processes from planning to execution, ensuring continuous improvement throughout the production lifecycle. Your insights will contribute directly to process enhancement and product excellence, and you’ll play a key role in maintaining a well-trained quality team to meet operational demands.

Main Responsibilities:

Overseeing the implementation and timely execution of QA/QC protocols in alignment with the defined Inspection and Test Plan.

Monitoring and maintaining the availability of skilled personnel for QA and QC duties.

Providing guidance to production teams and internal stakeholders on the correct application of inspection standards and quality procedures.

Designing, managing, and refining QA/QC workflows to support ongoing production goals.

Assessing risks and determining priority actions to ensure production quality.

Supporting production operations by ensuring access to relevant quality standards and offering advice on their effective use.

Collaborating with production, quality, and project managers to report on quality metrics, issues, and areas for Leading quality improvement initiatives that span multiple departments, driven by real-time feedback and production observations.

Ensuring compliance with department-specific certifications such as ISO 3834-2.

Conducting trend analyses and root cause investigations across multiple projects to identify recurring issues.

Creating standardized documentation and templates tailored to both project-specific and cross-project QA/QC needs.

PMS Electrical Commissioning Supervisor

For our client in Antwerp we are hiring a Power Management System Electrical Commissioning Engineer .

Job description As Power Management System (PMS) Electrical Commissioning Engineer you are responsible for overseeing the PMS pre-commissioning and commissioning, and the interfaces / loop checks of PMS with all others HV and LV electrical systems and equipment within the project. This role focuses on ensuring that all electrical components are correctly interfaced with PMS and validated according to design specifications, procedures, and operational requirements, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

Commissioning Planning

Develop comprehensive PMS loop checks / interfaces plans with all electrical equipment, outlining objectives, procedures, and schedules for testing and validation.

Collaborate with project engineers and other disciplines to ensure electrical commissioning activities are integrated into the overall project schedule.

Review Vendors procedures for electrical testing.

Testing and Verification:

Supervise Vendors and Subcontractor’ testing of electrical systems, specifically interfaces, loop checks, and interlocks / permissive between power distribution, transformers, HV and LV switchgears, and EDG’s with PMS.

Supervise PMS electrical system integration tests to ensure that electrical systems operate correctly and safely.

Test Procedure Development:

Create and / or review commissioning test procedures (CTPs) for electrical systems, ensuring they are detailed and comply with industry standards.

Ensure that test procedures are clear and provide specific instructions for conducting tests safely and effectively.

Determine temporary system requirements to enable commissioning testing

Prepare schedules for Vendor testing, assistance and support

Determine plant, equipment, tools and specialist tool requirements for commissioning

Issue Identification and Troubleshooting:

Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues that arise during the pre-commissioning and commissioning process, working closely with other Site disciplines to implement solutions.

Document any discrepancies from design specifications in NonConformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare or review detailed commissioning reports summarizing testing activities, results, and any issues encountered during the electrical commissioning process.

Maintain accurate records of all electrical commissioning activities, including test results, inspection reports, punch lists, and compliance documentation.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work collaboratively with the Commissioning Manager, Subcontractors, Vendors, and other engineers to ensure the effective execution of commissioning tasks.

Communicate test results and findings to project stakeholders, including Commissioning Manager and clients, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations during electrical commissioning activities.

Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that personnel involved in commissioning are trained in relevant safety practices.

Final Acceptance and Handover:

Participate in the final acceptance process, ensuring that all electrical systems are fully tested and verified to meet acceptance criteria.

Facilitate the handover of commissioned electrical systems to the operations team, ensuring they receive the necessary documentation and training

Job description As a Claim Manager, you will be a key figure in overseeing both incoming and outgoing claims across advanced shipbuilding programs. Working closely with cross-functional internal teams—and occasionally external parties—you'll be instrumental in shaping strategies to prevent disputes and resolve existing ones effectively. In this capacity, you will own and refine the tools and procedures used for claim handling, operating as a strategic advisor, coordinator, and driver of progress. You will also be directly involved in the resolution of specific claims, supporting case owners with practical advice, critical review, and documentation control. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations in a high-stakes, technically complex maritime environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate claim management activities among suppliers, clients, and internal departments, aligning with procurement, legal, project delivery, and subcontracting teams.

Handle claims from initiation through resolution, ensuring timely involvement of key internal stakeholders.

Offer tactical guidance during negotiations with clients and vendors, safeguarding the organization’s financial and contractual interests.

Identify claim-related risks and improvement areas early, helping to strengthen organizational readiness and mitigation strategies.

Gather and validate documentation from internal contributors to compile comprehensive and accurate claim dossiers.

Manage and enhance the systems and procedures used for tracking and reporting claims, and contribute to organizational learning through feedback loops and training.
