Are you an early-career procurement professional ready to take the next step? This (Junior) Tactical Project Buyer role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within complex, technically driven projects. You will join a skilled and knowledgeable procurement team and play a key role in securing the materials, equipment, and services required to successfully deliver large scale projects.
In this position, you will be responsible for sourcing and contracting suppliers, managing procurement agreements, and building strong, long-term supplier relationships. You will actively analyze market developments, track price trends within your category, and translate insights into clear reports. By working closely with experienced colleagues and technical stakeholders, you will directly contribute to project performance while developing your own expertise. Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing and executing the full procurement cycle in line with established procedures and project requirements.
• Conducting market analysis and supporting supplier development to ensure a stable and reliable supplier network.
• Identifying, qualifying, and assessing suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, cost, and performance criteria.
• Collaborating with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives driven by evaluations and performance reviews.
• Collecting, validating, and delivering accurate data to support budgeting and cost estimation activities.
• Contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of standardized procurement processes and framework agreements.
Your qualifications
• At least two years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within a technical or industrial environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in (technical) business administration or a comparable field.
• NEVI 1 and NEVI 2 certifications, or the willingness to obtain them.
• Strong negotiation capabilities combined with confidence, independence, and a structured working style.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Strong professional references, as a security screening is part of the recruitment process.
• Permanent EU citizenship and a valid EU passport. Candidates holding an EU work visa or dual EU/non-EU nationality are not eligible due to the security requirements associated with the nature of the projects.
