Job description
For one of our customers in Belgium we are in search for a Social Compliance Officer.
The purpose of the Site HR Compliance officer is execute administrative tasks to assure compliance of the Belgian labour laws, so everybody returns safely home and can provide for his family.
Main responsibilities:

• Monitor subcontractors (CI@W, checkinhoudingsplicht) and escalate red flags
• Control documents (A1, Limosa, single permits, certificate of coverage) and verify with experts and labour inspection (RSZ) if necessary
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Assure good data quality
• Prepare meetings with contractors, authorities, auditors, etc
• Assist in spotchecks on site
• Assist in the grievance mechanism: investigation engagement and treatment of external complaints and other tasks as required
Your qualifications
• Understand Belgian labour law for migrant workers
• Previous experience in complex construction projects
• Accurate, experience with Excel
• Stress resistant, be able to switch priorities swiftly
• Objective, understands and prevents biases
• Attitude to protect the vulnerable workers and the company
• Willing to work on a construction site in the harbour of Antwerp 4 out of 5 days
Personal skills
• Hands on attitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Stress-resistant, able to define and prioritize issues and solve pragmatically
• Excellent verbal and written Dutch & English
• Previous experience in complex construction projects
