About the Role
Lead and coordinate an IT team of approximately 10 professionals in an Agile environment. Responsible for managing and delivering multiple ongoing and new IT services. Ensure an optimal balance between scope, budget, and timelines.

Lead and coordinate an IT team of approximately 10 professionals in an Agile environment. Responsible for managing and delivering multiple ongoing and new IT services. Ensure an optimal balance between scope, budget, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage multiple projects and services within an Agile/Scrum framework
• Act as Scrum Master, ensuring team velocity aligns with sprint and release goals
• Oversee capacity planning, release management, and scope control
• Maintain clear and proactive communication between business stakeholders, analysts, development teams, and infrastructure
• Provide structured reporting on progress, risks, KPIs, and SLAs
• Apply Prince2 principles to monitor and control scope, budget, quality, and risks
• Identify and escalate risks proactively (e.g., scope changes, budget overruns, schedule delays)
• Support analysts, architects, and developers while monitoring team performance
• Ensure stable operations of existing systems (incident management, KPI tracking, SLA compliance)
• Translate complex technical or architectural concepts into business-friendly language, acting as a bridge between business and IT
Technical Environment
• Backend: Java, Spring Boot
• Frontend: Angular
• Infrastructure & Database: OpenShift, PostgreSQL
• Experience working in service- and incident-driven IT environments
Project Context
• Development and maintenance of applications and platforms supporting public sector organizations
• Systems focused on data management, electronic information exchange, and operational support within health and welfare domains
Your qualifications
Profile & Requirements• Proven experience as a Project Manager / Project Leader in IT, preferably within government or regulated sectors
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum and Prince2 methodologies
• Solid affinity with ICT, comfortable leading teams working in Java and OpenShift environments
• Ability to interpret functional analyses and technical architectures, and communicate them clearly to both business and IT stakeholders
• Skilled in challenging and validating technical proposals, estimates, and planning
• Experience in healthcare or public sector IT systems is considered an asset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to say “no” diplomatically when necessary
• Language skills: Fluency in Dutch (spoken and written); English is an advantage
