For our client in Zeeland province we are looking for a Functional Application Specialist Cadmatic Hull.

In the role of Functional Application Specialist, you will play a key part in strengthening and optimizing engineering processes by fully leveraging our Computer Aided Design environment. With a strong focus on Cadmatic Hull, you will contribute across the entire product lifecycle and directly influence the performance and success of complex engineering projects.
You will act as a functional expert within the CAD landscape, ensuring that engineering teams can work efficiently, effectively, and consistently by using well‑designed applications and standardized processes.

• Converting engineering requirements and business objectives into clear functional designs and application specifications.
• Investigating application‑related problems together with internal and external stakeholders and defining sustainable
solutions.• Designing, developing, and deploying functional application workflows and system enhancements.
• Building and maintaining strong collaborations with software suppliers and external knowledge partners.
• Overseeing and managing data and system interfaces between Cadmatic Hull and other connected applications.
• Administering user roles, licenses, and access rights within the application environment.
• Configuring and maintaining project setups and working environments in Cadmatic Hull.
• Managing catalogs, libraries, specifications, and other project‑specific engineering data.
• Coordinating and organizing application training sessions in cooperation with Engineering Support leadership.
• Providing hands‑on functional support to CAD and PLM users with a specific focus on Cadmatic Hull usage.
• Creating and maintaining user documentation, training materials, application guidelines, tips, and manuals for Cadmatic
users.
Your qualifications
We are seeking professionals who meet the following profile:• A completed bachelor’s degree or demonstrable expertise in an engineering discipline, ideally with a background
in shipbuilding or marine engineering.• Strong hands‑on experience with the Cadmatic software suite.
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts, along with prior experience in functional application
support or management, is considered an asset.• An excellent level of written and spoken English is required, while knowledge of the Dutch language is viewed as a plus.
• Willingness and ability to work on‑site at both the Vlissingen and Schiedam locations in the Netherlands.
• A strong professional background with verifiable references, as a pre‑employment security check is an integral part of
the selection process.• Possession of permanent European Union citizenship and a valid EU passport is mandatory; applicants holding temporary
EU or Dutch work permits, or those with dual EU and non‑EU nationality and/or passports, cannot be considered due to the defense‑related nature of the projects.
