Job description
For our client in the Amsterdam area we are looking for a DevOpS Engineer File Transfer.
Are you passionate about secure, reliable data exchange between applications and external partners? Do you have strong technical experience with Axway MFT solutions, infrastructure automation, and scripting? If so, this is your opportunity to contribute to the backbone of a vital File Transfer Service platform used across the organization.
You’ll become part of the FileTransfer team, responsible for the internal and external file transfer services used across business-critical applications and systems.

Roles & Responsibilities
✅ Design and implement a new external file transfer solution
✅ Migrate current users and services to the new platform
✅ Maintain and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
✅ Integrate with DevOps CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Ansible
✅ Implement and maintain DevSecOps security standards
✅ Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
✅ Monitor performance using Grafana, Prometheus, and proactively optimize systems
✅ Configure alerting systems and create incident response procedures
✅ Write and maintain technical documentation
✅ Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge with the team

Your qualifications
Technical Skills & Experience:• Strong experience in Axway MFT solutions (CFT, Gateway, Secure Transport)
• Advanced knowledge of DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, GitLab
• Hands-on expertise in Ansible for automated deployments
• Proficient in scripting languages: Python, Shell, or equivalent
• Good command of Java development
• Monitoring & alerting experience using Grafana and Prometheus

• Competitive base salary in scale 11 (€ 5.212 - € 8.387 gross/month)
