Job description
For our client in Zeeland province we are looking for a Data Engineer (interim).
Are you passionate about data engineering and eager to make a significant impact? We are looking for a Data Engineer to play a key role in building and enhancing data-driven decision-making capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
TECH STACK
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data ingestion and processing.
- Working extensively with SQL Server (SSIS, SSAS) and Power BI Report Server to manage and transform data.
- Optimizing data warehouse architecture using Microsoft BI stack, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Integrating data from various sources, including Oracle Server, APIs, and cloud storage solutions.
- Developing automation tools for data transformation, validation, and processing.
TECH STACK
- We are looking for professionals with experience in:
- Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS, SSAS, T-SQL)
- Power BI Report Server for enterprise reporting
- ETL/ELT development for large-scale data pipelines
- Data warehousing principles and performance tuning
- Integration of APIs and third-party data sources
- Cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus
- Automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar)
Your qualifications
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor’s degree (5–7 years experience) or Master's degree (3–5 years experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SQL-based data modeling, transformations, and optimizations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required.
