For our client in Zeeland we are hiring a Coordinator Configuration Changes.
As Coordinator Configuration Changes, you will be positioned at the centre of the Configuration Management framework, ensuring that technical modifications and administrative processes are aligned effectively. You will take ownership of change coordination activities and guide them from initiation to completion with minimal operational impact. In this role, you will act as the key connection point between customers, partners, suppliers, subcontractors, and classification authorities, ensuring that all changes are controlled, traceable, and clearly communicated.

Key responsibilities:

• Initiate, register, and manage engineering change requests with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness.
• Analyse the impact of proposed changes and determine the required approval and control levels.
• Track progress and coordinate communication between engineering, project teams, and external stakeholders.
• Prepare, organise, and chair Change Board meetings, including documenting decisions and follow-up actions.
• Define, coordinate, and monitor change implementation plans to ensure clear execution.
• Verify implemented changes and formally close them after validation.
• Support document control activities when additional capacity or expertise is required.
Your qualifications
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably suited to an administrative role within a complex technical environment.
• A structured, proactive working style with a strong focus on completion and team support.
• Solid knowledge of naval engineering principles and technical systems.
• Proven experience with configuration management and formal change control processes.
• Hands-on experience working with PDM systems for large or complex products and projects.
• The ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data from multiple systems and tools.
• High attention to detail, discipline, resilience, social awareness, and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English; German language skills are considered an advantage.
• Strong professional references, as a security screening is part of the selection process.
• Permanent EU citizenship and a valid EU passport, required due to the defence-related nature of the projects.
