Intentional permanent contract

Job description

For our client in Zeeland we are hiring a Aspect Integration Lead.
The Aspect Integration Lead acts as the central point of contact for GS (Gesamtsystem) and WS (Waffensystem) perspectives across the entire project lifecycle. This position ensures that system aspects are consistently embedded in engineering activities, verification and validation efforts, design assessments, and integration milestones. The role focuses on creating clarity, structure, and coherence between project workflows, technical domains, and multidisciplinary teams. In addition, the Aspect Integration Lead plays a key role in synchronizing planning, V&V activities, technical requirements, testing, integration teams, and system integration leadership around the defined aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all GS and WS-related aspects throughout engineering, testing, verification & validation, and system integration phases.
• Align schedules, priorities, and deliverables with the various teams involved in the project.
• Proactively identify risks, interdependencies, and potential bottlenecks, and escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders when needed.
• Develop and deliver Aspect Management Summaries (AMS), concise one-pagers, and other alignment-focused communication tools.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions to clarify aspects, processes, and ownership within the project organization.
• Act as the representative of GS and WS aspects during design reviews, integration discussions, and technical coordination meetings.
• Work closely with GS and WS teams, system architects, design control, and functional design teams to ensure seamless aspect integration.
Your qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 7–10 years of relevant professional experience, or a master’s degree with 5–7 years of applicable experience.
• Solid technical expertise in mechanical systems, propulsion, or auxiliary systems, preferably gained in naval or offshore environments.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating complex, multidisciplinary teams and managing cross-system interfaces.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics for both technical specialists and management audiences.
• A hands-on, solution-oriented attitude combined with strong organizational capabilities.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Successful completion of a reference and background check is required as part of the standard pre-employment screening.
• Mandatory possession of permanent EU citizenship and an EU passport; candidates holding EU work visas or dual EU/non-EU nationalities are not eligible due to the defense-related nature of the projects.
