Turnaround managers
The tasks of a Turnaround Manager include:
Executing effective and efficient leadership and management of complex and/or extensive multidisciplinary maintenance and/or newbuild activities.
Being responsibility for integral management of turnaround projects from initiation to evaluation phase. Such as correct evaluation of scope, work preparation, planning and execution, including aftercare.
- Directing the implementation of the approved project plan and monitoring aspects such as quality, safety, delivery time, budget, profitability and cooperation.
- Holding ultimate responsibility on site during the turnaround.
- Reaching agreements with the steering committee.
- Being ultimately responsible for synchronisation with the (sub) contractors regarding progress and quality of work.
- Giving guidance, motivation and encouragement to project staff. Promotes a good working environment with the entire project organisation. Evaluates and assesses project staff.
- Being responsible for QA / HSE policy and other (statutory) regulations and requirements (Labour, Environment, Safety, Steam Equipment Supervision Service, etc.) during the turnaround.
