Document controllers
The Document Controller is responsible for the correct flow of the documents relating to a project.
The tasks of a Document Controller can include:
- Requesting the required data and maintaining contact with internal and external stakeholders for creating the planning documents.
- Checking documents for accuracy (e.g. revision number)
- Monitoring delivery times of documents.
- Expediting goods according to purchase orders.
- Submission of the planning documents for approval by the customer.
- Careful archiving of documents and correspondence in the databases and systems.
- Supervising inspections, managing data files and taking care of all administrative tasks.
