Equipment inspectors
The Equipment Inspector complies with the requirements and regulations imposed by third parties in the areas of safety and the environment, making reports and taking appropriate actions. If dissatisfied, the Equipment Inspector will close down operations. Inspections agencies and co-ordinators can contact the Equipment Inspector for information;
The duties of an Equipment Inspector include:
- Inspecting outsourced work and recording this in reports and actions;
- Drawing up a plan for the inspections to be carried out;
- Proposing inspection methods and taking into account the risks associated with them;
- Developing and managing inspection programs.
