We are looking for a skilled professional to provide specialized technical support and solutions for project teams, operations, and maintenance. You will be instrumental in implementing the Most Effective Technology (MET), work processes, tools, and industry best practices within your area of expertise.
Our Hardware Disciplines include Buildings, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Materials, Mechanical, Process Containment Equipment, and Piping. Specialists in these disciplines support both projects and technical teams, serving as Inspectors, Designers for large projects, or Discipline Leads.
This role requires advanced technical expertise and a deep understanding of processes, procedures, and systems. You may also act as a team leader, offering subject matter guidance and coordinating the work of others.
Key Responsibilities
As an Inspector or Designer: Ensure that drawings and specifications are clear, accurate, and aligned with business requirements.
Complete timely reviews to confirm adherence to drawings and specifications by fabricators, constructors, and maintenance contractors.
As a Discipline Lead for Projects: Lead project efforts within your discipline, overseeing results and ensuring compliance with relevant work processes and best practices.
Drive front-end planning to define project scope clearly and establish detailed plans and schedules for effective execution.
Direct activities within your discipline and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless coordination.
Oversee the preparation of deliverables for project estimates, reviewing outputs to ensure alignment with the project scope.
Guarantee that deliverables meet project requirements, including functionality, timeliness, and budget constraints.
Lead the development of technical contract packages and support their implementation.
Enforce and utilize the project change management process.
Promote cost-effective designs that deliver maximum value to the business.
Prioritize safety in all design activities.
Je profiel
A Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (e.g., Associate's Degree) in a relevant field such as hardware or manufacturing, combined with practical experience in the industry.
Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Skilled in providing specialized technical support and tailored solutions for project teams, operational processes, and maintenance tasks.
Proficient in understanding and implementing Most Effective Technology (MET), work processes, tools, and industry best practices within the respective discipline.
Expertise spans across various hardware disciplines, including Buildings, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Materials, Mechanical, Process Containment Equipment, and Piping.
Contributes to projects and technical support teams in capacities such as Inspector, Designer for large-scale projects, or Discipline Lead.
Utilizes advanced skills and specialized technical knowledge to manage a wide range of complex work assignments, employing analytical or scientific methods as required.
May function as a working team leader, offering subject matter expertise and coordinating the efforts of other team members.
