Senior Planning Engineer (Instrumentation)
For our client in Antwerp we are hiring a Senior Planning Engineer (Instrumentation).
Vacature omschrijving
We are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer (Instrumentation) to be assigned to Antwerp for a new petrochemical complex in execution phase.
Support Construction Manager for all planning related issues.
Update and further develop (if needed) detailed level 3 construction schedule of projects already prepared in Home Office.
Further develop Level 4 Construction schedules for critical works in liaison with subcontractors.
Establish Progress system for Construction works and monitor it on a weekly basis.
Record manhours expenditure and site presence (blue and white collars).
Consolidate Progress curves for Construction works based on above schedule and progress system.
Attendance of Construction progress meetings with Subcontractors.
Attend Meeting with Client whenever required.
Measure and make trends of construction productivity rates.
Prepare weekly / monthly reports as required.
Leading planning workshop / session with subcontractors and client.
Steer Subcontractor’s execution in view of schedule criticalities analyzing “Free” and “Total” Floats.
Perform “what-if” analysis to advise project team with respect to most suitable solutions to be pursued from a timeline perspective.
Je profiel
Excellent relational skills
Proven experience in Oil&Gas / petrochemical construction works
Mandatory Oracle Primavera P6 ability
Database management (full proficiency of MS Office’s suite – Excel vlookup, pivot tables are a must to know)
Familiarity with Material management and Construction management systems
English fluency
Problem solving attitude
Ability to work autonomously
