Vacature omschrijving
Administer the packages of the electrical engineering group.
Uses technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and produce a range of electrical engineering deliverables (including more complex tasks) with limited guidance and direction from more senior technical professionals.
Develops a range of electrical engineering deliverables, including specifications, calculations, reports, technical requisitions, material requisitions and others.
Ensure that Electrical Engineering activities are executed according to the project procedures, specifications and standards, good engineering practices and techniques, and any project-specific requirements.
Supervise the day-to-day (if any) engineering interfaces between PMC core engineering group, Project Management team and the engineering teams assigned to the EPC package – includes interaction with all other specialist disciplines as required.
Participate in design reviews and engineering changes with customer and EPC contractor as necessitated by design development and ensure core team are made aware of these.
Participate in key customer reviews and meetings as required.
Participate in project reviews, value engineering and value improvement workshops with customer / contractor.
Participate in (Global) meetings and reviews.
Input engineering procedures and work practices in conjunction with Core Electrical Lead as appropriate
Responsible for estimating electrical discipline manhours and schedule requirements in production of deliverables, coordinates own work schedule, and prepares progress reports.
Review vendor documentation.
Carryout Site Surveys and develop site survey reports.
Je profiel
Degree in relevant discipline.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in major oil / gas refinery / petrochemical projects in the capacity of senior electrical engineer with engineering contractor / PMC organization.
Fully familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices to be adopted during EPC phases of oil / gas projects.
Must have the capacity to supervise and manage EPC Contractors and development of detail design deliverables.
Must have proven ability to contribute during development of electrical system studies.
Fluent English is a must, knowledge of French and Dutch is a plus.
Experienced in the use of appropriate codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation.
