Job description
We have two positions available:
1. An interim role for self-employed contractors, offering flexibility in work arrangements.
2. A permanent role with full-time employment on payroll and associated benefits.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Systems Verification Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that systems meet all specified requirements, conducting thorough document reviews, and managing the traceability of project deliverables from initial proposal to final system acceptance. You will report to the Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) Manager and work closely with various stakeholders to maintain the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) and lead physical testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborating with the Test & Integration team and other engineers on requirements engineering and verification & validation (V&V) tasks, ensuring the successful delivery of VV&A activities.
Establishing a complete and detailed set of system requirements for your assigned systems, breaking down high-level requirements into specific, manageable system requirements.
Linking system requirements to relevant document placeholders, creating verification cases (VeCs) in the VCRM, and developing test specifications (TeCs) for physical testing.
Ensuring compliance with the Means of Compliance (MoC) for systems in your scope and providing evidence of compliance through structured testing and documentation.
Working with customers to agree on system specifications and the VCRM for assigned systems, and supporting the progressive acceptance process throughout the project lifecycle.
Your qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, along with experience in designing and engineering complex, high-tech products.
Expertise in Configuration Management, Requirements Management, and Systems Engineering principles and practices.
A solid understanding of the VV&A process, particularly with class-regulated products.
Experience working in dynamic mid-sized projects with high complexity, with a strong ability to collaborate closely with project teams and customers.
Knowledge of Good Engineering Practices, with a focus on quality, cost management, and meeting project deadlines.
Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required, while proficiency in Dutch and German is considered an advantage.
Excellent references, as a pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment process.
Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required. Candidates with an NL/EU work visa or those holding both EU and non-EU citizenship are not eligible due to the military nature of the projects.
