Job description
As a Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of subcontracting within assigned contracts for large-scale shipbuilding projects. You will contribute your expertise during the selection and negotiation process and lead the management of subcontractors to ensure project components are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will act as the primary point of contact for client collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers during both project preparation and execution, with a focus on short- and medium-term objectives.
Ensure compliance with all requirements and specifications, manage the change process, and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors.
Oversee integration activities and ensure all project deliverables and obligations are met within the established timelines.
Actively participate in reviews and milestones such as FAT, HAT, and SAT to ensure quality and compliance are achieved.
Support evaluations and analyses to facilitate project planning and execution.
Your qualifications
At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing large and complex (offshore) projects.
Possession of an IMPA D certification or equivalent.
Familiarity with engineering concepts and practices.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical business administration or a related field.
Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.
Permanent EU citizenship and a valid passport are required. Candidates with an EU (work) visa or dual nationality (EU and non-EU) are not eligible due to the military nature of the projects.
