Job description
The Project Support Engineer is responsible for managing and organizing engineering-related data within Teamcenter, ensuring that all project data remains accurate, consistent, and up-to-date according to project requirements. This role works closely with various stakeholders, including the Project Manager Engineering, document controllers, specialists, and project engineers, to ensure the proper processing and administration of project data.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and complete data entry in Teamcenter, sourced from internal and external parties.
Assist Procurement in creating and maintaining data sets for suppliers.
Proactively follow up with the project team to complete any missing or incomplete data sets.
Contribute to the improvement of administrative processes within the Engineering Department.
Share process improvements and best practices with colleagues for continuous enhancement.
Apply deep knowledge and experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, specifically Teamcenter.
Proficiency in using Teamcenter, Sharepoint, Floor2Plan, and Relatics for data management and project support.
Your qualifications
Solid experience with PLM tools, particularly Teamcenter, and other relevant data management platforms.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Proactive mindset, with the ability to chase and resolve incomplete data sets in a timely manner.
Experience working within project teams, collaborating with different stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English and Dutch.
Ability to think critically and contribute to process improvements within the engineering department.
A team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing project requirements.
