Job description
As a Project Planning Coordinator in Hamburg, Germany, you will oversee the planning, progress tracking, and follow-up for a high-profile shipbuilding project supporting the German Navy. You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the shipbuilding schedule by incorporating the latest updates from subcontractors. Close monitoring of the build's progress will allow you to proactively identify potential bottlenecks and planning challenges, ensuring timely resolution and coordination of corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the overall project planning, progress monitoring, and follow-up for a large-scale marine project.
Integrating updated subcontractor data into the shipbuilding schedule and reviewing progress on-site.
Anticipating and addressing potential planning issues by identifying bottlenecks early.
Developing and incorporating STW, HAT, and SAT schedules for combat systems integration.
Collaborating effectively with teams across various locations, including Hamburg, Kiel, Wolgast, and the Netherlands.
Your qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, combined with at least five years of experience in planning complex, large-scale projects, preferably within shipbuilding or similar sectors.
Strong proficiency with planning software such as MS Project or Primavera, or the eagerness to acquire these skills.
Ideally based in northern Germany.
Fluent in German, both spoken and written.
Positive references and a successful pre-employment security screening, which is a mandatory part of the recruitment process.
Must possess permanent EU citizenship and passport. Candidates with EU work visas or dual citizenship (EU and non-EU) are not eligible due to the security nature of the project requirements.
