Job description
As a Project Engineer Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific discipline’s scope within a project, leading a team and managing the scope, timeline, and budget. Your focus will be on ensuring high-quality design, compliance with regulations, and coordination with other disciplines. You will contribute to the department’s growth by mentoring colleagues and driving innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and requirements.
Collaborate with other disciplines to assess manufacturability and feasibility.
Support the Project Manager Engineering (PME) in defining and managing the project scope.
Approve designs, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
Identify technical bottlenecks and propose solutions.
Guide and mentor engineers, ensuring quality control of all project documentation.
Participate in site and customer meetings, ensuring alignment with their expectations.
Coordinate work within the engineering team and with subcontractors.
Monitor the project’s progress and update the PME on developments.
Liaise with suppliers and production teams for feedback and equipment interface details.
Your qualifications
Experience in yacht building preferred.
Knowledge of Team Center NX is a plus.
Fluent in English.
