Process Manager

Voor onze klant in Zeeland zijn we op zoek naar een Process Manager.

Job description

As the Process Manager, you will play a key role in defining the workflows needed to achieve project goals in alignment with contractual obligations. By serving as a guide, process leader, and advocate, you will engage, motivate, advise, and inspire your team and stakeholders. You will also be responsible for managing necessary partnerships and preconditions. As the Process Manager, your main responsibility is overseeing the implementation and execution of the processes (the “how”) and coordinating cross-functional tasks within the organization to ensure smooth and efficient execution. You will lead process improvement initiatives and act as the main point of contact for process-related matters within the project, liaising with the team, sub-project managers, clients, and project stakeholders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Developing and executing a strategic plan for process implementation, execution, and optimization.
Being accountable for driving key process implementation and execution in the project.
Acting as the primary contact for project directors and team members for these processes.
Coordinating externally with clients and subcontractors to ensure alignment.
Ensuring the consistency and harmony of processes across sub-projects for effective execution.
Managing progress on process deliverables, working closely with sub-projects or within team processes.
Creating and maintaining process management plans based on project requirements.
Collaborating with the project team and functional line organization to foster improvements in both project and line operations.
Identifying areas for process improvement, working with cross-functional teams to gather insights and develop innovative solutions.

Your qualifications

At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within shipbuilding or a related industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of Business Process Management and associated standards.
Familiarity with the systems engineering approach to managing complex projects.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
Proven leadership experience in guiding teams, particularly in a technology-driven project and process environment.
A Master’s degree in Business Process Management or a technical Bachelor’s degree, with additional process management certifications considered a plus.
Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.
Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required. Candidates with EU (work) visas or dual nationality (EU and non-EU) are ineligible due to security requirements related to the nature of the project.
