Job description
In the role of Process Manager for a significant naval project, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the workflows necessary for achieving project objectives as outlined in the contract. Your responsibilities will include guiding the team, owning the processes, and advocating for effective practices. You will motivate, advise, and engage with your colleagues while managing essential collaborations and prerequisites. Your primary duty is to ensure the successful implementation and execution of processes, focusing on "how" these objectives are achieved. Additionally, you will coordinate cross-functional tasks within the project organization to ensure efficient and value-driven outcomes. You will lead process enhancement initiatives and serve as the main point of contact regarding processes for the project management team, sub-project leaders, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Formulating and executing a strategic vision for process development, implementation, and optimization.
Being responsible for the execution of critical processes, including Risk Management, Configuration Management, Supply Chain, and Data Exchange.
Serving as the primary liaison for project directors and team members regarding these processes.
Coordinating externally with clients and subcontractors to ensure alignment.
Ensuring uniformity and consistency in processes across sub-projects for enhanced execution.
Tracking the progress of process deliverables in collaboration with team processes or sub-projects.
Developing and maintaining process management plans that meet project requirements.
Providing process owners with the resources and support they need.
Collaborating with the project team and functional departments to drive improvements.
Analyzing potential areas for enhancement and working with cross-functional teams to generate insights and innovative solutions.
Your qualifications
To thrive as a Process Manager, you should bring the following qualifications and attributes:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the shipbuilding sector or a similar industry.
In-depth knowledge of Business Process Management and associated standards.
Familiarity with the systems engineering approach applicable to complex projects.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other methodologies focused on process improvement.
Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a technology-oriented project and process environment.
A Master’s degree in Business Process Management or a technical Bachelor’s degree complemented by additional studies in process management.
Strong references, as a pre-employment security screening will be part of the recruitment process.

Permanent EU citizenship and a valid passport are required. Candidates holding an EU (work) visa or possessing both EU and non-EU nationality and/or passports will not be considered due to the military nature of the project.
