Job description

Provides a technical resource to project teams and/or provides expertise in specific fields, tools or theory. Provides solutions which add value through improvements in work process, unit operations, operating condition and/or process technology. Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline.

Responsibilities / Duties

Applies Global Project Methodology (GPM) and Process Engineering Work Process Discipline.

Ensures that the project scope is well defined and meets the business needs in a cost effective manner.

Ensures that the process design is safe, meets DOW LPP’s and other EH&S requirements.

Drives project execution within their discipline.

Provides input to project schedule and plans, then monitors progress against the plans.

Ensures process design deliverables meet the needs of the project including functioning as intended, on time and within budget.

Identifies technical problems both within designs and existing operations. Appropriately engages the business and functional technology center and the subject matter expert network to resolve.

Your qualifications

Undergraduate Degree Engineering

Experience in Process flow and production

Ownership of production equipment unit at all levels ensuring optimum processing

Understanding and maintaining subsystems of both mechanical and electrical nature

Contributing to defining experiment parameters. Using statistical analysis to perform design of experiments

Developing, planning and executing process engineering for the production of a broad range of materials

Collecting and analyzing data. Generating reports to communicate results

Operationally focusing on improving processes and product quality, yields, cost and performance

Facilitating product development from research to manufacturer
