In the role of Lifecycle Architect for Naval Ships, you will ensure that naval systems adhere to rigorous technical specifications, create sustainable maintenance strategies, and develop advanced asset management and logistics technologies to improve operational readiness and minimize downtime for naval vessels.
Designing innovative and scalable lifecycle support and training solutions that align with business goals and technical specifications, thereby enhancing material and personnel readiness while optimizing reliability and availability.
Integrating lifecycle support systems with current infrastructure to facilitate seamless data exchange and ensure interoperability.
Managing configuration processes and implementing health monitoring, smart supply chain solutions, logistics support, and training programs.
Engaging with stakeholders to collect and analyze business needs, transforming them into effective technical solutions that reflect the organization’s vision.
Enforcing security best practices to safeguard sensitive naval data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, while collaborating closely with developers, engineers, and project managers.
Offering strategic guidance throughout the development process to assist teams in making informed decisions regarding technology, design, and best practices.
Continuously evaluating system performance, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending enhancements to ensure optimal functionality.
Your qualifications
A minimum of five years of relevant experience in lifecycle support management, techniques, and principles.
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related technical field.
Experience with data ethics and security as a Solution Architect, preferably within naval engineering, research, development, or innovation in the maritime lifecycle support sector.
Familiarity with naval operations and maritime regulations, including ship maintenance, repair, and support processes such as Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Lifecycle Management (LCM) is desirable.
Proficiency in English, and ideally Dutch, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong references, as a standard pre-employment security check will be conducted.
Permanent EU citizenship and a valid passport are mandatory. Candidates holding only an NL/EU work visa or those with dual nationality (EU and non-EU) are not eligible due to the military nature of the projects.
