For our client in Vlissingen we are hiring a Interim Project Manager for ILS.

In the role of Interim Project Manager for ILS, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of ILS packages, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and budget constraints. Your expertise in ILS methodologies, particularly in defense or similarly complex technical fields, will be crucial in supporting our naval engineering projects. This position demands effective collaboration with a variety of stakeholders and departments.

As the Project Manager for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), your primary duties will include:

Overseeing ILS projects to achieve defined objectives related to schedule, quality, and cost efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with contract specifications and agreements while coordinating with stakeholders and departments.
Enhancing and streamlining the ILS project management process to deliver exceptional results that align with client expectations.
Innovating and implementing new strategies in ILS methodologies while maintaining existing workflows.
Ensuring adherence to company policies and meeting end-user requirements and specifications.
Preparing ILS proposals, which encompass technical specifications and pricing structures.
Managing daily operations while developing long-term strategies for effective and cohesive ILS support.
Monitoring and driving performance across all ILS activities to ensure that the team meets goals within the designated budget.

Your qualifications

To thrive as an interim Project Manager in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), you should possess:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field, preferably with an IPMA C certification.
Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience with maintenance and ILS methodologies, especially in the defense sector or complex technical environments.
Proficiency in both English and Dutch, with German language skills considered a plus.
Availability to work full-time in Vlissingen, with occasional travel to other locations.
Competencies in customer focus, teamwork, results orientation, coaching, planning, organization, leadership, and stress management.
Excellent references, as a pre-assignment security screening is part of the recruitment process.

Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required. Candidates with EU (work) visas or those holding both EU and non-EU nationalities and/or passports are ineligible due to the military nature of our projects.
