Functional Application Specialist Teamcenter/ TCRA

Job description

Application Specialist for Teamcenter/TCRA, you will enhance the engineering capabilities of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform, focusing specifically on the integrated Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics application. Your efforts will boost efficiency and effectiveness throughout our engineering operations, positively influencing our projects by delivering excellent service and support to all team members involved with Teamcenter and TCRA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Converting the needs of engineering business processes into functional specifications for application development.

Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze issues and create effective solutions.

Developing and implementing application processes and new functionalities.

Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners.

Overseeing interfaces between applications and Teamcenter/TCRA.

Managing user access rights within the application.

Setting up and configuring project environments in Teamcenter and TCRA.

Coordinating training sessions related to the application with the Manager of Engineering Support.

Offering functional assistance to PLM/CAD users concerning Teamcenter.

Creating and updating training materials, guidelines, application documentation, and user manuals for Teamcenter/TCRA.

Developing and maintaining specialized tools to address specific engineering needs.

Your qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, ideally in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering.

Proficiency in using Teamcenter and TCRA software applications.

Familiarity with PLM principles and experience in managing functional applications.

Strong command of the English language; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

Ability to work in both Vlissingen and Schiedam, Netherlands.

Competence in Microsoft Excel, with a preference for familiarity with VBA coding.

Excellent references, as a pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment process.
