Functional Application Specialist Cadmatic

Job description

As a Functional Application Specialist, you will enhance the engineering capabilities within our Computer-Aided Design platform, particularly focusing on Cadmatic, throughout the product lifecycle. Your role will significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering processes, directly impacting our projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Converting engineering requirements into functional specifications for application development.

Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze challenges and formulate solutions.

Creating and implementing processes and functionalities for the application.

Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners.

Overseeing the integration of applications with Cadmatic.

Managing user access rights within the application.

Setting up and configuring project environments in Cadmatic.

Coordinating training sessions related to the application with the Engineering Support Manager.

Offering functional assistance to PLM/CAD users concerning Cadmatic.

Preparing and developing training materials, guidelines, and user documentation for Cadmatic.

Your qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering or shipbuilding.

Strong proficiency with the Cadmatic platform, and familiarity with CATIA and the 3DExperience platform from Dassault Systemes is a plus.

Understanding of PLM principles along with experience in functional application management.

Excellent command of the English language; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.

Willingness to work at our locations in Vlissingen and Schiedam, Netherlands.
