Job description
In this position, you will play a vital role in developing system models for sophisticated naval vessels, detailing their functional behavior, and ensuring requirement traceability through Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). You will mentor project teams in systems analysis and modeling methodologies, facilitate tool integration, and support the modeling of functionalities and requirements. Additionally, your responsibilities will encompass assisting in the requirements engineering process, including traceability, analysis, decomposition, verification, and validation (V&V). You will collaborate with system architects, design engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
Key Accounttablities:
Defining and refining the systems analysis and modeling processes.
Keeping the Systems Modelling Management plan updated to reflect the process.
Actively supporting various modeling and design teams.
Contributing to the requirements engineering and V&V processes.
Effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, such as architects, engineers, and clients.
Your qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, ideally focused on (naval) shipbuilding.
A solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and requirements engineering.
Familiarity with the Arcadia Method and proficiency in CAPELLA or similar MBSE tools.
Experience with IBM Rational DOORS is advantageous.
Key attributes include being a team player, detail-oriented, communicative, proactive, and organized.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to read German considered beneficial.
Strong references as a standard pre-employment security screening is part of the hiring process.
Important
Permanent multi-year EU citizenship and a valid EU work visa are essential due to the military nature of the clients and projects involved.
