In this role, you will focus on analyzing and evaluating the technical specifications for marine piping systems, while playing a key part in the design and documentation of P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and system descriptions. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that all systems meet the technical requirements, customer specifications, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis and Evaluation: Review and assess the technical specifications for marine piping systems, including purchased components and relevant project standards. Ensure designs align with project goals, customer needs, and regulatory standards.
Design and Documentation: Develop P&IDs, system descriptions, calculations, and other essential engineering documents for marine piping systems. Ensure these documents are completed within established deadlines and meet quality standards.
Stakeholder Support: Provide technical guidance and support to both internal and external stakeholders. • Address and resolve customer and class society feedback, ensuring compliance with all technical and regulatory requirements.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate across disciplines to ensure that engineering solutions align with overall project objectives and contribute to successful project execution.
