Job description
Are you a driven Engineer who thrives in the world of luxury yacht construction?
Would you like to contribute to groundbreaking superyacht projects where design and technology meet at the highest level? Join a specialized team working on one-of-a-kind vessels admired worldwide.
In this position, you will take ownership of technical tasks within your assigned scope, focusing on excellence in design, 3D modeling, and engineering deliverables. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to ensure each project meets the highest standards and complies with marine industry requirements. You’ll act as a key liaison between the engineering department and the production floor. Supporting both sides, you'll ensure that technical plans are accurately translated into the build process—and that production feedback loops back into engineering for continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
Create and fine-tune technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation.
Verify that all engineering outputs align with maritime regulations and internal criteria.
Perform detailed feasibility analyses to ensure successful manufacturing outcomes.
Detect technical challenges early and offer effective solutions to overcome them.
Work hand in hand with project leads, senior engineers, and production teams to achieve outstanding results within deadlines.
Your qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Maritime Technology, or a related field.
Between 2 and 5 years of relevant engineering experience in shipbuilding.
Proficiency with engineering software including 3D AutoCAD; knowledge of Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic is a strong plus.
Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
A solid understanding of shipbuilding production and construction processes.
Experience with structural design, hull engineering, exterior outfitting, and equipment integration.
Familiarity with FEM (Finite Element Method), stress analysis, weight control, and budgeting.
Excellent analytical thinking and a results-driven mindset.
A naturally accurate work style and commitment to high engineering standards.
