For our client in Zeeland, Netherlands, we are looking for an Analytical technician

The Analytical Center of Excellence (ACE) organization is looking for an Analytical Technician (full shift) in the Chemicals lab located in the Netherlands.

The Chemicals lab is one of the Manufacturing Production Quality (MPQ) labs that performs analysis of plant samples. Serving multiple production plants such as polyurethanes and polyglycols results in the need for a 24/7 service and a full-shift roster to perform the analysis of all plant samples.

Responsibilities
Ensure service requests are accurately run, and the data returned as per sample plan.
Analytical equipment operations and troubleshooting as per procedures.
Provide input of quality data into LIMS, document, and communicate results.
Perform calibration and first-line maintenance of analytical equipment. Document/administrate these maintenance activities. Communicate maintenance work when required.
Apply Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), Analytical Work Process, and Operating Discipline/Quality System procedures and practices as well as cGMP/pharma standards.
Participating in and completing laboratory training and corporate-required trainings.
Cooperate and communicate with co-workers and clients to maintain workflow and instrumental information, and to share and leverage problem-solving and prevention expertise.
Contribute to value creation by continuous improvement of procedures in the analytical work processes and related tools and performance metrics.
Promote a well-organized, responsive, efficient workplace and work well both as a team member and independently.

Your qualifications

Qualifications
At least an MBO-4 laboratory degree or similar.
At least 3 years of industrial laboratory (analytical) experience.
Fluent in the English language.
Good lab techniques, methodical record keeping, and the ability to work both independently and with co-workers are required.
Excellent human relations, organizational and communication skills are necessary to communicate with team members, partners and outside customers.
Exhibit confidence in confirming validity of methods and data.
Able to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Able to work in full shift: morning, afternoon and night shifts in a roster that reoccurs every 16 weeks.

Preferred qualifications
Bachelor's degree (HBO/HLO).
cGMP/pharma experience.
Fluent in the Dutch language.
Experience in operation, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment is beneficial.
Knowledge of quality data systems like LIMS, OpenLab, etc. is beneficial.
