Passed! Eugène is a prevention advisor
My name is Eugène de Vetter and I have been working at Nouvall Engineering Services for 8 years. In addition to recruitment, I am also involved in the safety of our employees and with actions related to the VCA** and VCU audits. In connection with the growth of Nouvall in Belgium, I wanted to delve further into the matter of safety and well-being in Belgium in order to know what we should pay attention to for our employees and what we can and/or should improve.
In addition, of course, should an incident occur, I would like to know what is expected of Nouvall. Furthermore, which parties must be involved in an incident or which legislation must be followed.
In consultation with our directors, Mark Rosel, Michel van Leuven and Jan Claeyssens, I received approval to follow the Prevention Advisor level 2 training at Hogeschool Antwerp.
On November 9, 2019 I started this training and unfortunately (just like everyone else) was confronted with the outbreak of the corona virus. This meant that I had to follow a lot of online lessons via Teams, which was certainly not always easy.
I have now passed all modules in one go and recently successfully defended my thesis in front of a jury. The graduation ceremony will take place in June and I will receive my 'Prevention Advisor level 2' diploma.
I would like to thank my colleagues for taking over my work during my study period and especially my directors who gave me the opportunity to follow this training.
