Process operators
The Process Operator has a crucial role in all manufacturing processes in both the (petro) chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. The Process Operator contributes to the smooth running of a production process.
The tasks of A Process Operator include:
- Monitoring the production process at all times and intervening as and when necessary;
- Through his knowledge, in the case of malfunctions and calamities, the Process Operator can execute adjustments in the process quickly and efficiently;
- Performing technical checks on the installations and indicating possible abnormalities;
- Performing small maintenance operations; the larger work being done by the Technical Service Department;
- When starting or stopping a part of a factory, the Process Operator will act according to the correct procedures and manuals. The Process Operator is responsible for checking that all systems comply with the prescribed guidelines.
