Turnaround preparers
A Turnaround Preparer or Job Preparation Worker ensures good work preparation so that the turnaround can be performed efficiently.
The tasks of a Turnaround Preparer or Turnaround Work Preparer include:
- Making cost price calculations;
- Drawing up a schedule;
- Providing advice on qualitative and quantitative occupation;
- Compilation of work packages giving detailed information which contractors can use to carry out the work;
- Arranging equipment such as cranes, internal transport, temporary lighting, temporary workplaces, etc.;
- Providing and following up various procurement assignments;
- During the turnaround, ensuring on a daily basis that the necessary work permits are issued for the execution of the work required.
