The Scaffolding Coordinator coordinates the scaffolding work for one or more projects or for a turnaround, on behalf of the plant owner or the (main) contractor.
The duties of a Scaffolding Coordinator include:
- Being independently responsible for the design, calculation, development, coordination and supervision of scaffolding projects and the associated safety and quality;
- Providing progress reports for the Project Manager and Production Manager and ensuring correct administration;
- Paying attention to agreements made, materials used, quality, procedures and regulations;
- Working closely with scaffolding subcontractors/suppliers;
- Being responsible for the provision of risk analyses and work permits.
