Commissioning engineers
The Commissioning Engineer takes care of the commissioning of production lines and their adjustment. The Commissioning Engineer provides project-oriented after-care for control programs and updates all documents and schedules.
The duties of a Commissioning Engineer include:
- Organisation and guidance of technicians in relation to commissioning;
- Coordination of commissioning, service and repair work on location (logistics, resources, occupation, time monitoring, efficiency, technology, safety and the environment);
- The independent execution of service and maintenance work, and the commissioning of new construction and rental facilities;
- Servicing above-mentioned installations and training operators;
- Troubleshooting and / or organising replacement work during the start-up phase of a project;
- Carrying out all the necessary administrative tasks with regard to service/maintenance and/or reporting malfunctions, processing test data, testing and adjusting the repaired/revised components;
- Guiding and directing service technicians when at work.
