For our client in Zeeland we are hiring a Tactical Project Buyer.
Are you an experienced procurement professional with a passion for technical environments? In this role, you'll be in charge of securing essential materials, services, and products required for the successful delivery of complex shipbuilding projects. You’ll focus on supplier relationship management and cost control, while collaborating closely with a team of procurement and engineering experts.

• Oversee the full procurement cycle in line with internal processes and defined project parameters.
• Conduct market exploration and support supplier development efforts to ensure continuity and competitiveness in the supply chain.
• Track and analyze fluctuations in the cost of critical raw materials within your area of responsibility.
• Identify, assess, and validate potential suppliers and subcontractors through structured evaluation methods.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with suppliers, guided by qualification and performance assessments.
• Contribute to category management by helping define strategic directions and executing them effectively.
• Deliver accurate and timely data to support budgeting activities and cost estimation processes.
• Draft and manage standardized procurement agreements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance over time.
Je profiel
• At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within a technical or industrial setting.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business-related field.
• NEVI-1 and NEVI-2 certifications are advantageous; candidates willing to obtain them are also welcome.
• Strong negotiation capabilities, with a confident and structured working style.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English, with solid communication skills in both languages.
• Able to provide excellent professional references; this role includes a mandatory security clearance.
• Due to the sensitive nature of the work, only candidates with full EU citizenship and a valid EU passport are eligible. Applicants with dual nationality or non-EU documentation unfortunately cannot be considered.
