For our client in Zeeland we are hiring a System Integration Lead Automation & Electrical (Interim).
As the Interim System Integration Lead for Automation & Electrical, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration and validation of advanced automation and electrical systems within cutting-edge naval vessels. Your role will involve guiding technical teams, ensuring flawless execution, and managing critical Verification & Validation processes to ensure that subcontracted work is delivered with the utmost quality and within the required timeframe.

• Managing the creation and delivery of detailed Verification & Validation documentation.
• Coordinating a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical experts.
• Ensuring the seamless integration of electrical and automation systems while adhering to all technical specifications.
• Overseeing the review and approval process of client documentation.
• Leading design reviews, addressing any technical escalations, and ensuring full compliance.
• Organizing and managing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Harbor Acceptance Tests (HAT), and Sea Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Acting as the technical authority on system integration to ensure smooth and accurate implementation.
Je profiel
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Shipbuilding, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in shipbuilding, offshore engineering, or a similar technical industry.
• Extensive technical knowledge in the integration of automation, electrical, and control systems.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex engineering projects involving cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and experience overcoming technical and regulatory challenges.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is an advantage.
• A strong professional background with excellent references, as a pre-assignment security check is required.
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are necessary.
• Candidates holding an EU (work) visa or non-EU nationality and/or passport cannot be considered due to the specific military requirements of the project.
