We are looking for a fully remote Ruby on Rails Developer to join a fast-growing SaaS platform serving customers worldwide.
Description
We are seeking a disciplined and self-motivated software developer with professional experience in Ruby on Rails development. The ideal candidate has solid expertise with PostgreSQL databases and modern front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar), combined with a strong focus on delivering clean, maintainable code.
This fully remote role involves developing and maintaining back-end services, implementing user-facing features, and working collaboratively within a distributed team to enhance performance, scalability, and user experience. You will participate in technical planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development practices.

Je profiel
Profile• 3–5+ years professional experience in Ruby on Rails development (senior candidates ideally 5+ years)
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Solid front-end development skills (React, Next.js, or comparable)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (Heroku, AWS, or similar)
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in remote teams
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
• Experience with TypeScript
• Python (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic)
• Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, GraphQL
• Prior experience migrating or modernizing legacy applications
