For our client in Antwerp we are hiring a Lead Program planner.
Carry out planning and scheduling functions in accordance with project standards. Job responsibilities: analysis and evaluation of proposed impacts to the overall construction, commissioning, start-up and readiness schedules.

• Build, development, then ongoing review of the project control system including planning, scheduling, and reporting/monitoring.
• Plan and provide work direction as required for the preparation of planning and scheduling control systems and other practices to give the Planning Manager a means to evaluate and improve the efficiency of their work execution.
• Provide staff guidance to Construction Managers in areas of planning and scheduling expertise by analyzing and evaluating all pertinent data.
• Work closely with the Commissioning Planner to assist with review of the commissioning schedule, how it dovetails from Construction, leads into operations readiness, then ultimately full operations.
• Discuss, coordinate, and resolve long and short-term planning, or scheduling problems associated with operations with personnel throughout the Company. Act as a technical consultant when required.
• Evaluate/validate the planning and progress information collected from the Construction Team and advise management of exceptions to the plan and potential corrective action and/or impact to the project and site.
• Participate in Construction schedule risk analysis where required.
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness and appropriateness of planning and scheduling information collected from the Construction Planning Team. Advise of significant exceptions and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide Construction input to the consolidated progress reports and schedules for the facility.
• Collect lessons learned during execution to be included in regular reports, allowing continual development and improvement.
• Build, develop and continually review a suite of schedules and reports for the operating facility, updating and improving when the opportunity presents.
• Presentation of all schedules, plans, forecasts and reports as required.
• Continued development, maintenance and integration of the Construction Level 2 plan.
Je profiel
• Degree in Planning, Engineering, or related subject
• In-depth knowledge of industrial operations
• Over 10 years’ experience in Oil and Gas/Petrochemical industry
• Good knowledge of Primavera software
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English languages, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills
