For one of our customers in the province "Zeeland" we are looking for a Senior Business Process Analyst .

As a Senior Business Process Analyst (BPA) for Export Control division, you will be the key liaison between Compliance & Export Control departments and the IT organization. Your primary mission is to assess, refine, and implement business processes and related information systems (e.g., SAP/GTS) to enhance their effectiveness, ensuring they align with legal priorities and the company's strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first IT contact for business stakeholders and process owners in the Compliance & Export Control departments.

• Assess, change, and refine business processes and related information systems (e.g., SAP, external customs declaration systems) to ensure effectiveness and alignment with strategic priorities.

• Play a key role in IT development and implementation projects, managing transitions from development to support phases.

Support Functions:

• Serve as the bridge between the business organization, IT organization, and outsourcing partners, including customs authorities and IT service providers.

• Document "as-is" and "to-be" processes and assist in developing business case transitions.

Management & Leadership:

• Lead and steer project teams, ensuring proper documentation and knowledge transfer before go-live.

• Drive change and handle resistance, providing leadership and direction in high-pressure environments.

Process & Improvement:

• Translate business requirements into IT requirements and select or design appropriate solutions to meet these requirements.

• Continuously improve processes to align with export control and customs regulations.

Additional Duties:

• Ensure compliance with export control procedures and customs declaration rules in a complex logistics environment.

• Travel Requirements: Up to 10% travel required.

Je profiel

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Tax Law.

Skills & Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in export control procedures and customs declaration rules/systems in a complex logistics environment.

• Proven experience with IT systems supporting export control and customs, specifically SAP/Logistics (ECC and/or S4) and SAP/GTS.

• Experience working with external solution providers in export control and customs areas.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of SAP/GTS (especially GTS 11 and/or GTS/HANA 2023) and SAP/Logistics.

• Ability to document and transition business processes effectively.

Soft Skills:

• Strong customer focus, result-oriented, and committed to excellence.

• Proactive personality capable of dealing with resistance.

• Leadership capability with the ability to steer a team and drive change.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, fluent in Dutch and/or English.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to perform in high-pressure environments and a hands-on mentality.
