Voor onze opdrachtgever in de regio van Antwerpen (centrum), zoeken wij een IT Engineer.
IT Engineer – Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
• We are looking for a driven IT Engineer to join a leading logistics company based in the Port of Antwerp.
• In this role, you act as the technical expert, analyzing and resolving complex IT issues.
• You will be responsible for system troubleshooting, infrastructure management, and supporting Level 1 colleagues.
• The position is primarily based at the head office in Antwerp, with occasional support at warehouse sites for more advanced technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
• Advanced Technical Support
- Serve as the escalation point for complex IT issues unresolved by first-line support.
• Infrastructure & System Management
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022/…).
- Administer RDS environments and Active Directory.
- Maintain virtualization infrastructure, handle patch management, and perform security updates according to schedule.
• Network & Security Operations
- Support mobile device management and implement security policies.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Project & Process Improvement
- Develop PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• People Management & Knowledge Sharing
- Train and mentor L1 support colleagues in more complex technologies.
- Promote best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT team.
Je profiel
Experience & Knowledge• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.
• Solid expertise in Windows Server, RDS, Active Directory, virtualization, and IT security.
• Practical, hands-on experience with Azure, Office 365, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Basic understanding of MS SQL Server is considered an asset.
