For our client in Antwerp we are looking for an HVAC Commissioning Supervisor.
For a major industrial project in Antwerp, we are looking for an HVAC Commissioning Supervisor to oversee the pre-commissioning and commissioning of HVAC systems across various project buildings.
Reporting to the Project Commissioning Manager, you will coordinate testing, Mechanical Completion and handover, ensuring that equipment, controls and associated E&I systems meet project specifications and operational requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reporting to the Project Commissioning Manager, you will coordinate testing, Mechanical Completion and handover, ensuring that equipment, controls and associated E&I systems meet project specifications and operational requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Develop and review HVAC pre-commissioning and commissioning plans, procedures and schedules.
• Coordinate activities with project engineering and other commissioning disciplines.
• Review subcontractor and vendor procedures, reports and Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Supervise equipment testing, including instrumentation, controls, interfaces, interlocks, loop checks and safety devices.
• Supervise functional and integration tests.
• Drive Mechanical Completion at system and subsystem level in line with the project schedule.
• Prepare and review Commissioning Test Procedures (CTPs).
• Identify temporary systems, equipment and specialist tooling required for testing.
• Coordinate vendor testing, assistance and specialist support.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, raise NCRs and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain test results, inspection records, punch lists and commissioning documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, RAMS, Permit to Work and LOTO procedures.
• Act as approver for subcontractor permits where applicable.
• Support final acceptance and handover of systems and documentation to operations.
Je profiel
We are looking for someone with:• A degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Substantial experience in mechanical commissioning, with relevant HVAC systems experience.
• Experience with equipment, controls, functional testing and system integration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience coordinating vendors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• A practical, client-oriented approach.
