For a client in Antwerp, we are looking for a Heavy Lift Supervisor.
The Heavy Lift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all heavy lifting activities on-site, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of large-scale equipment, including a 200-meter flare, prefabricated modules, and all sorts of other equipment.
This role will also encompass the management of site logistics and warehousing. The successful candidate will act as the asset owner's representative on-site, working closely with th EPCM contractor and the lifting contractor to facilitate all heavy lift operations.

Job requirements:
• Develop and oversee the heavy lift strategy for the project, ensuring all operations comply
with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Supervise the lifting of critical equipment, including a 200-meter flare and large prefabricated
modules, ensuring adherence to the highest safety and quality standards.
• Coördinate with the EPCM contractor and lifting contractor to plan and execute lift using
SPMTs (Self-Propelled Modular Transporters) and other lifting equipment.
• Manage on-site logistics, including the movement, storage, and warehousing of equipment
and materials.
• Ensure that all lifting activities are documented, including lifting plans, risk assessments, and post-lift reports.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of lifting equipment and rigging arrangements.
• Provide expertise in the selection and use of lifting gear and accessories.
• Train and mentor on-site personnel in heavy lift operations and safety protocols.
• Act as the point of contact for the asset owner, ensuring that contractors meet all project
requirements and timelines.
Je profiel
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in supervising heavy lift operations within a large-scale construction or industrial environment.
• Knowledgeable in the use of SPMTs and other heavy lifting equipment.
• Strong understanding of site logistics, warehousing, and materials management.
• Familiarity with the operational procedures and safety standards of heavy lifting activities.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with contractors and project teams.
• Certification in heavy lift supervision and safety management.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and lift plans.
• A problem-solver with a proactive approach to project challenges.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
