For our client in Zeeland province we are looking for a Head of Customer Care.
As Head of Customer Care, you will oversee the planning, coaching, development, assessment, and deployment of our Field Service Engineers. You make sure the department consistently meets its quality objectives and achieves reliable delivery performance. You also ensure that essential resources—such as tools, training, and protective equipment—are available on time so engineers can carry out their tasks effectively.
In this position, you report hierarchically and functionally to the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership to the Customer Care team and ensure the department is staffed appropriately.
• Guide and support team members, coordinate training activities, and handle performance evaluations.
• Review and update job descriptions for team members on a regular basis.
• Determine the allocation of Field Service Engineers by considering availability and individual expertise.
• Oversee the quality of completed work and follow up on input received from engineers and project managers.
• Monitor project progress and take corrective action whenever necessary to maintain momentum.
• Guarantee that the required equipment, tools, and materials are accessible for field operations.
• Propose, initiate, and track improvements at both tactical and strategic levels.
• Maintain relationships and communicate effectively with owners and owner representatives.
• Manage the more complex cases and inquiries handled within the department.
Je profiel
• Bachelor’s or Master’s level of working and thinking.
• At least 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in shipbuilding and planning.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in coaching and team development.
• Pragmatic, persuasive, and strong in coordination.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Experience in process improvement and operational team management.
