For our client in Vlissingen we are hiring a Functional Application Specialist Cadmatic.
As a Functional Application Specialist, you will enhance the engineering capabilities within our Computer-Aided Design platform, particularly focusing on Cadmatic, throughout the product lifecycle. Your role will significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering processes, directly impacting our projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Converting engineering requirements into functional specifications for application development.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze challenges and formulate solutions.
• Creating and implementing processes and functionalities for the application.
• Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners.
• Overseeing the integration of applications with Cadmatic.
• Managing user access rights within the application.
• Setting up and configuring project environments in Cadmatic.
• Coordinating training sessions related to the application with the Engineering Support Manager.
• Offering functional assistance to PLM/CAD users concerning Cadmatic.
• Preparing and developing training materials, guidelines, and user documentation for Cadmatic.
Je profiel
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering or shipbuilding.
• Strong proficiency with the Cadmatic platform, and familiarity with CATIA and the 3DExperience platform from Dassault Systemes is a plus.
• Understanding of PLM principles along with experience in functional application management.
• Excellent command of the English language; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.
• Willingness to work at our locations in Vlissingen and Schiedam, Netherlands.
• Strong references, as pre-employment security checks are a standard part of the recruitment process.
Important:
• Permanent EU citizenship and a passport are required; candidates holding an NL/EU work visa or having both EU and non-EU nationalities/passports are not eligible due to project requirements.
