Voor onze opdrachtgever in de omgeving Amsterdam zijn wij op zoek naar een Chapter Lead Architecture Workplaces Services & Collaboration Architecture
Are you an experienced enterprise architect with a passion for workplace technologies and collaboration solutions? We are seeking a Chapter Lead who will manage both architecture strategy and team leadership for the domains of Workplace Services and Collaboration. This Amsterdam-based role provides the opportunity to shape future employee experiences across a complex international landscape, working alongside other senior architects.
As Chapter Lead for the Workplace Services and Collaboration architecture team, you will combine technical excellence with people leadership. You are responsible for setting architectural direction, ensuring delivery consistency, and fostering the growth and performance of your team members.
You will lead a chapter of domain and solution architects working across the sub-domains of Knowledge, Enterprise Search, and Digital Collaboration. At the same time, you will also drive strategic architecture initiatives and governance for current and future-state architectures.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Architecture Expertise
✅ Act as subject-matter expert in Workplace Services and/or Collaboration domains
✅ Stay up to date with trends in employee experience and their technological implications
✅ Develop long-term (5–10 year) vision for both domains based on internal and external drivers
✅ Contribute to strategic planning, aligning domain strategy with enterprise technology strategy
✅ Define and maintain architecture landscapes across business, application, data and technology levels
✅ Create and update architecture roadmaps and target states
✅ Drive governance processes: standards, approvals, quality control and deviation management
✅ Deliver clear, fit-for-purpose documentation, including standards, reference architectures, and patterns
✅ Provide ongoing guidance and peer review of architectural deliverables
✅ Present in architectural and operational forums (up to executive level)
✅ Ensure successful implementation of approved architecture in delivery teams
✅ Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical leads across departments

✅ Drive professional development: hard skills, soft skills, and leadership capabilities
✅ Handle capacity planning, resource allocation, and work prioritization
✅ Ensure compliance with company policies and internal governance standards
✅ Mentor and coach team members, fostering a feedback-driven culture
✅ Communicate global architecture changes and general technology updates
✅ Act as the link between the team and senior IT and business stakeholders
✅ Support a transparent delivery culture by tracking and reporting commitments

Je profiel
We are looking for a senior enterprise architect with a proven record in workplace and collaboration domains. You are confident, pragmatic, and capable of translating strategy into action while also supporting the professional growth of others.Required Skills and Experience
✅ Significant experience with enterprise-level architecture, ideally in both WPS and Collaboration domains
✅ Solid background in designing and implementing scalable, enterprise-grade architecture solutions
✅ Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholder groups
✅ Proven ability to build trusted relationships across business and IT
✅ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field
✅ Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and modeling languages like ArchiMate
✅ Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with agile architecture practices

What We Offer
✅ Salary range: €7.125 – €11.331 per month
✅ 24–27 vacation days (depending on contract)
✅ 13th month salary
✅ 8% holiday allowance
✅ Pension scheme
✅ Individual Savings Contribution (BIS): 3.5% of annual gross salary
✅ Hybrid working model: 2–3 days per week in the Amsterdam office
