For our client in Flushing, we are looking for a QA / QC Coördinator.

Vacature omschrijving For the Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC) withing our Construction & Conversion Projects in Flushing,
we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Junior QA/QC Coördinator.
In this entry-level role, you will assist in ensuring that all activities involved in the fabrication, assembly, painting and preparation of offshore structures meet the highest quality standards.
This includes conducting & following inspections, performing testing, and supporting the documentation of
quality control activities (prefabrication structure, welding installation, Painting, Piping prefabrication and
installation).

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:

QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA)

Support the preparation and maintenance of quality-related documentation, including ITP

review, inspection reports, test certificates, and material tracking.

Collaborate with the project team to resolve quality issues, including recommending corrective

and preventive actions.

Monitor and record welding, coating, and fabrication processes to ensure quality standards are

upheld during the construction phase.

Verify the adherence to piping design drawings, specifications, and relevant codes (e.g., ASME,

ASTM, ISO).

Support senior QA/QC coördinators & officers in reviewing construction drawings, quality plans, and

project specifications to verify adherence to quality standards.

Help identify non-conformance issues (NCRs) and discrepancies, ensuring they are

documented and addressed promptly.

Assist in ensuring all materials and equipment used in fabrication are compliant with applicable

standards, including certifications and traceability documentation.

Support in preparing for external audits or inspections to Suppliers.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA/QC processes in the yard by providing

feedback on efficiency and quality issues.

Contribute to improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) at Site level

Collaborate with other Dixstone entities to Harmonize Procedures Documentation

Participate in ISO Certification (ISO 9001 Quality)

QUALITY CONTROL (QC)

Assist in the inspection and quality control of materials, components, and assemblies sed in the

fabrication for offshore structures and equipment.

Perform visual inspections and basic testing to ensure conformity to design specifications and

quality standards (e.g., weld inspections, material checks, dimensional control) in our workshop.

Conduct inspections of piping systems, components, and materials at various stages of

fabrication, assembly, and installation.

Inspect welds, flanges, joints, and valves for proper installation and compliance with welding

procedures (WPS), pipe supports, and brackets.

Participate in inspections of subcontractors' and vendors' work to ensure their adherence to

project quality requirements

Logistics Coordinator

For one of our customers in Belgium we are in search for a Logistics Coordinator.

Vacature omschrijving The Logistics Coordinator shall be required to provide Logistic Coordination services and expert advice, including but not limited to the following:

Oversees all project logistics execution.

Act as coordination between Procurement, construction and finance Client/Contractor teams to ensure alignment or all logistics issues.

Issue regular reporting on all logistics matters and resolve, as necessary.

Ensure all logistics implications are managed and fulfilled in relation to Custom Duties and liaise with appropriate providers.

Ensures all required documentation is coordinated to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with International Commercial Terms and all local, state and federal regulations.

Route and arrange transportation of shipments between Site and Yards.

Coordinate transportation for normal loads, special oversized loads, hazardous and Complex international shipments by all modes of transportation.

Perform expediting and/or tracing activities with carriers, packers, and shipping agents.

Support purchasing with carrier related insurance claims for overage, lost, or damaged cargo.

Suggest and implement solutions to guarantee relationship between logistics and construction to assure all equipment arrives to site as scheduled.

Determine requirements for, obtaining and administrating export or import licenses of countries through which a shipment will move.

Determining and administrating customs and other Documentation requirements.

Supporting and administrating logistics services in coordination with buyers and contract administrators and ensure all necessary documentation is distributed.

Approve invoices as necessary.

Support Expediting Dept. staff in the review of the relevant documentation.

Availability to periodically visit site for supervision and control of all tasks related to local on shore transportation issues.

HSSE Trainer

For our client in Antwerp we are hiring a HSSE Trainer.

Vacature omschrijving Basic function of the role of HSSE Trainer is to design, develop and deliver a range of safety programs covering all aspects of the construction site.

Ensure that all training material is up to date.

Ensure day by day training to the required company and contractor’s personnel.

Ensure implementation & compliance of the training procedure.

To ensure that all training performed are recorded and training test done.

To be able to deliver all HSSE training necessary for the safe execution of the construction works.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate the training activities to ensure high standards of training, and to ensure it is delivered safely and effectively.

Delivering in-house HSSE Training (e.g., Site induction, Permit to Work, Risk Assessment, Working at Heights, etc.)

Completing and marking assessments after each training.

Developing new and updating existing materials.

Designing bespoke courses to meet site project needs.

Ensure an up-to-date Database of staff attendance for all training courses delivered.

Develop necessary reports and statistics including training non-compliances as necessary at regular frequency.

Guide the development of the site Project orientation and coordinate the HSSE Training program for all personnel coming to site.

Verify that the HSSE Training Matrix is respected.

Control certificates from third parties for specific training required by Belgian regulations (if required)

To be able to deliver the training in English, Dutch and any additional languages it would be appreciated.

Analyzer Technician

Vacature omschrijving Als Analyzer Technician ben je verantwoordelijk voor :

Algemeen inzetbaar voor zowel preventief- als reparatiewerk aan onze on-line process-analyzers.

Neemt zelfstandig beslissingen ten aanzien van reparatieproblemen met minimale ondersteuning van collega’s.

Kan, met behulp van basistechnieken, aan de hand van gegevens uit instructieboeken of verstrekt door derden, bij de analyzers met de volgende meetprincipes storing zoeken en zelfstandig repareren:

- pH en geleidbaarheid;
- Fysieke eigenschappen (oa viscositeit, vochtigheid en calorische waarde);
- Gaschromatografie;
- Spectroscopie (oa optisch, laser en full spectrum (FT(N)IR));
- Zuurstofanalyzers;

Draagt bij aan de veiligheidscultuur van onze klant.

Bekijkt of er problemen zijn met de uitvoering op technisch, veiligheids- of ander gebied.

Voert werkzaamheden uit volgens de daarvoor geldende procedures met gebruik van de checklist indien van toepassing.

Voert kwaliteitscontroles uit en assisteert bij het bepalen of het probleem opgelost is.

Completeert de benodigde informatie ten behoeve van documenting en history updating (SAP / engineering files etc).
