In this entry-level role, you will assist in ensuring that all activities involved in the fabrication, assembly, painting and preparation of offshore structures meet the highest quality standards.
This includes conducting & following inspections, performing testing, and supporting the documentation of
quality control activities (prefabrication structure, welding installation, Painting, Piping prefabrication and
installation).
DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:
QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA)
Support the preparation and maintenance of quality-related documentation, including ITP review, inspection reports, test certificates, and material tracking.
Collaborate with the project team to resolve quality issues, including recommending corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor and record welding, coating, and fabrication processes to ensure quality standards are upheld during the construction phase.
Verify the adherence to piping design drawings, specifications, and relevant codes (e.g., ASME, ASTM, ISO).
Support senior QA/QC coördinators & officers in reviewing construction drawings, quality plans, and project specifications to verify adherence to quality standards.
Help identify non-conformance issues (NCRs) and discrepancies, ensuring they are documented and addressed promptly.
Assist in ensuring all materials and equipment used in fabrication are compliant with applicable standards, including certifications and traceability documentation.
Support in preparing for external audits or inspections to Suppliers.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA/QC processes in the yard by providing feedback on efficiency and quality issues.
Contribute to improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) at Site level.
Collaborate with other company entities to Harmonize Procedures Documentation.
Participate in ISO Certification (ISO 9001 Quality).
QUALITY CONTROL (QC)
Assist in the inspection and quality control of materials, components, and assemblies sed in the fabrication for offshore structures and equipment.
Perform visual inspections and basic testing to ensure conformity to design specifications and quality standards (e.g., weld inspections, material checks, dimensional control) in our workshop.
Conduct inspections of piping systems, components, and materials at various stages of fabrication, assembly and installation.
Inspect welds, flanges, joints, and valves for proper installation and compliance with welding procedures (WPS), pipe supports, and brackets.
Participate in inspections of subcontractors' and vendors' work to ensure their adherence to project quality requirements.
Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coördinator shall be required to provide Logistic Coördination services and expert advice, including but not limited to the following:

Oversees all project logistics execution.
Act as coördination between Procurement, construction and finance Client/Contractor teams to ensure alignment or all logistics issues.
Issue regular reporting on all logistics matters and resolve, as necessary.

Determine requirements for, obtaining and administrating export or import licenses of countries through which a shipment will move.
Determining and administrating customs and other Documentation requirements.
Supporting and administrating logistics services in coördination with buyers and contract administrators and ensure all necessary documentation is distributed.

Support Expediting Dept. staff in the review of the relevant documentation.

Permit to Work Coördinator

Basic function of the role is to ensure implementation of Permit to work (PTW) procedure at site and to ensure the effectiveness to achieve HSE objectives with minimal but not limited to requirements for an HSE Permit coordinator:

To assist with supervisor to prepare PTW for Field work where required.
To monitor mandatory PPE used at workplace.
Ensure implementation & compliance PTW (Permit to Work) & complementary PTW foreseen by procedure.
To ensure be able to use specific software for PTW control, issue, approval, and record.
To keep update all data and documents related to PTW.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as single point of contact for all PTW activities and be the primary interface between all parties participating to the process for PTW, providing up-front advice and support to users of the PTW-process and system and ensure necessary logistics for PTW.
Liaise with the performing parties at the planning phase to complete the Permit Review/Screening to ensure appropriate Method Statement and Job Hazard analysis is performed. Identify activities that conflict with other work and that such hazards are identified and that steps are being undertaken to analyze and implement mitigations.
Participate to the daily coordination meeting, update and circulate list of next day’s/week’s planned work activities with relative order and priority. Keep up-to-date daily register of PTW’s, supplementary certificates/ PTW, audits and performance statistics.
Ensure the Supervisors have an overview of all planned and ongoing activities, which may impact on site activities.
Facilitate constructive working relationships across all contractors and liaise with all discipline supervisor regarding work planning for construction work execution, etc.
Liaise closely with the Performing Authority and Permit applicant to ensure all the appropriate hazards and controls have been identified for that task.
Manage the Permit to Work system and keep all data in such a state that it accurately reflects the work state of the construction site.
Perform spot-checks on the correct execution of permitted work activities in compliance with PTW procedure and other company procedures. Coordinate and conduct routine PTW audits and assume role as focal point for PTW audits.
To act as the installation administrator of the electronic permit system.
Track and advise line management for overdue or expired permits, certificates, forms and maintain records and hard copies of all PTW documentation as per document retention policy.
Identify ways to improve PTW process and system regarding safety, effectiveness & efficiency and propose improvements to Site HSSE Manager.
Develop necessary PTW reports and statistics including PTW non-compliances as necessary at regular frequency.
Develop necessary PTW trainings as necessary at regular frequency in order to instruct all parties participating to the process for PTW in the use of dedicated software and procedure.
Participate in PTW audits and incident and near miss investigations that are associated with Permit to Work process when nominated by Line management.
The role will involve several interfaces with all discipline on site and so the successful candidate will need to be able to manage multiple stakeholders and willing to hold potentially difficult conversations.
